HOW TO ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY S5 SM-G900F

Samsung Galaxy S5 is the new Android flagship smartphone, Before of its official release in the worldwide market, the international variant SM-G900F has been rooted by Chainfire CF-Root. Over the years, Chainfire, community has contributed a lot to the android community over the years, they have release CF-Root packages for a number of Android Smartphones which mainly includes from Samsung and Google Nexus devices. It is expected that the phone will be available on the 11th of April, so if  you’re a big fan of Rooting your device, then probably root is already available, within a few clicks you’ll be able to gain root access on Galaxy S5. However, as we always, Rooting your phone will voids its warranty method willincrease your flash counter and trip your KNOX. I am hopeful that Chainfire will soon update TriangleAway app to reset the flash counter.

Although it is still not officially available, but we have given a detailed step by step instructional guide on how to gain root access on Galaxy S5, so once get your phone, you can then easily get rooted.
Using this root increases your flash counter and trips the KNOX warranty flag!

How to Root Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F using CF-Root?

Step 1: First download the CF-Root packages and Odin3 v3.09 to your PC and unzip the files to a suitable location.
Step 2: Run Odin v3.09.
Step 3: Reboot your Galaxy S5 into ‘Download Mode’.
Step 4: Connect your phone to PC via the USB cable and make sure Odin recognizes your device.
Step 5: Click the ‘PDA’ button and select the tar.md5 rooted kernel file from the unzipped folder.
Step 6: Next, Click the ‘Start’ button to flash the cf-root package, which will ultimately install SuperSU binary and  Stock recovery.
Step 7: Wait for a while, Once it completes, Odin3 will notify you via the PASS!! message and your phone will automatically reboots.
Step 8: That’s it! Now once your phone reboots, Check that SuperSU has been installed. Open Google Play Store, search for ‘Root Checker’ App, install it and launch to verify to root access.

That’s it! Your Samsung Galaxy S5 has successfully been Rooted on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. You can now enjoy root access.
